The property features a sun terrace and a hot tub, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a long day of exploring. It felt like stepping into a private oasis amidst the stunning gardens.

Restaurant experience disappointing.

I absolutely loved the private bathroom at Borgo Il Mezzanino! It was spacious, clean, and had a fancy bathrobe and slippers. It felt so luxurious, like staying at a spa. As a disabled guest, having a bathroom with a bath or shower and bidet was a real treat and made me feel pampered.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the executive lounge access. It didn't really appeal to me, but I understand that others might enjoy it.

My recent stay at Borgo Il Mezzanino was absolutely amazing! The view from the villa was breathtaking and the ambience was so relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. I loved the fact that the hotel only has 8 rooms, which made it feel very private. The breakfast buffet was delicious and satisfying. I had a truly relaxing and comfortable experience at this beautiful villa.

Although the swimming pool was small and not suitable for swimming, it didn't bother me as I was more focused on enjoying the stunning views and the hot tub. Additionally, the dirt road leading to the hotel from Salo was a bit challenging to navigate, but once I arrived, it was well worth the effort.

The road leading to the hotel was unpaved and difficult to drive on, especially with a sports car. The room had small windows, limited natural light, and a lack of furniture, which made it feel dark and cramped.

I chose Borgo Il Mezzanino Villa for its convenient location near the attractions I wanted to visit in Salo. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the featured amenities such as express check-in, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. The free cooked-to-order breakfast and the option to enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge were also delightful additions to my stay.

Additionally, there was a wasp nest under the pool deck, which made the area uncomfortable and contaminated. The overall atmosphere of the place felt upscale but lacking genuine charm.

I had such a blast at this historical building without a lift. The shared lounge and free WiFi were just the cherry on top. And oh, the body wrap at the onsite spa was to die for!

The food was exceptional, especially with many ingredients sourced from the hotel's own farm. Enjoying meals on the terrace with breathtaking views was a highlight of our stay. The level of service from the friendly staff, including the amazing room cleaning, made our experience truly unforgettable. We can't wait to go back and create more memories at this dream-like place.
